| I would like to nominate a truly terrific person, Keli Pia-Miller. I have known Keli for 4 years. She is a strong individual who is a source of strength not only to her immediate family, but to people she reaches through her employment at the non-profit Attorneys for Children office. Keli has adopted two special needs children and has a baby with her partner, Elizabeth Pia-Miller. Although there is always something in her personal life that could distract her, she is always focused and willing to go the extra mile for the foster parents and children she encounters on a daily basis through her work. Keli is the type of woman who I admire and it is my belief that she has provided ongoing support that is immeasurable to the community and is a woman you should know.
