Always willing to help a neighbor, extend a hand for those less fortunate, support the dreams of youth and her own children, she has the unique ability to multi-task, manage stress and still remain pleasant and effective while dealing with difficult challenges and obstacles.
What I know you will find in Lana is a person of pure heart, pure intentions and actions that make a positive and profound difference in the lives of others. Because she is so grounded, spiritual, caring and REAL, she looks like a teenager still, with a carefree spirit, a kind heart and a clear sense of purpose that make her the role model she truly is. Prior to coming to GIAC, Lana worked as a Tenant Relations Specialist for Tompkins Community Action and a Member Service Representative for Alternatives Federal Credit Union. Be it keeping a cool head in hot situations, negotiating conflict, leading programs and initiatives, maintaining confidences, offering a hug when you need it most, sending you an encouraging e-mail just because she saw that you were a bit blue, raising funds for worthy community causes, bravely asking for friends to help send her to Europe so she could join one of her children abroad for a special program, (what a self-starter), helping others achieve their dreams of finding a home or finding a caring and welcoming face at a local bank,
